Base Cabinet

Blind Base Corner Cabinet (BBC)

A blind base cabinet is a type of kitchen cabinet that is designed to fit in a corner where two walls meet at a right angle. It is called a “blind” cabinet because one side is hidden from view by the other cabinet that is adjacent to it.

The function of a blind base cabinet is to provide storage space for kitchen items such as pots, pans, and small appliances. Its design allows for efficient use of corner space, which is often difficult to utilize effectively in kitchen design.

To use a blind base cabinet, you typically open the door that is visible and reach in to retrieve or store items. Some blind base cabinets may also have pull-out shelves or other features to make it easier to access items that are stored in the hidden portion of the cabinet.

The blind area maximum width is 27″. If the width is smaller than 24″, the cabinet needs to be pulled out away from  the corner wall to ensure the door can open.

The default width for the filler next to the door is 6″

There is one fake drawer face on the top of  the door.

This cabinet is available in the following size:

BBC36 (9″ wide door), BBC39 (12″ wide door), BBC42 (15″ wide door)
