Base Cabinet

Base End Cabinet (BEC)

A base end cabinet is a type of kitchen cabinet that is designed to fit at the end of a row of cabinets, typically at the end of a kitchen island or peninsula.

The function of a base end cabinet is to provide additional storage space at the end of a row of cabinets, while also creating a finished look to the kitchen layout. It can be used to store a variety of kitchen items, such as cookbooks, small appliances, or serving dishes.

To use a base end cabinet, you typically open the door by pulling on the handle or knob. The shelves inside the cabinet can be adjusted to accommodate items of different sizes. Because it is shallower than other base cabinets, a base end cabinet may be more suitable for storing smaller items that do not require as much depth.

Base end cabinets come in a variety of sizes and configurations to fit different kitchen layouts and design styles. They can be installed individually or as part of a larger kitchen cabinetry system, and may be custom-built to match the style and finish of other cabinets in the kitchen

The base end cabinet has a trapezoidal angle. There is a 3″ panel at the front with the door on the oblique side.
